Everyman Project

Description

The Everyman Project is a counselling service which helps men to learn to understand their angry thoughts and feelings, and to control their violent and/or abusive behaviours.

Their main focus is working with male perpetrators of domestic abuse and violence.

For male perpetrators, they have developed a two-stage model based on principles of counselling. This is a 30-week programme which starts with a suitability assessment, followed by 13 weeks of one to one counselling and then 16 weeks of group counselling.  They help break into the cycle of abuse and violence by challenging and supporting perpetrators to take responsibility for their actions and stop altogether their abusive, angry and violent behaviours.

They also support survivours of domestic abuse and violence.
