Mary Hare School is the largest school for deaf children and young people in the UK, located in Newbury, Berkshire. They are a boarding and day school and they welcome deaf students from Reception to Year 13 (aged 4 - 19). Students are immersed in the English language, both spoken and written, without the use of BSL in their classes, pupils thrive on learning to use their voice and the use of English is really important.
