Cullum Centres

Description

Supported by funding from the Cullum Family Trust, Surrey County Council and the National Autistic Society are developing purpose built, specialist centres within mainstream secondary schools for children with autism. Children will be able to spend most of their time in mainstream lessons, but would use their Cullum Centre for one to one support, and learning groups with specialist staff.

Three schools currently have a Cullum Centre; Salesian School in Chertsey, Rodborough in Godalming and Hinchley Wood School in Esher. Places are allocated by Surrey LEA after consideration by a specialist panel.

A fourth Cullum Centre is being developed within The Howard of Effingham School.
