Project thrive: an anti-bullying intervention for young people (16th June)

Description

Going through bullying is tough. “Bullying is repeated aggressive behaviour by a person or a group that is directed at another person or group, and is intended to cause harm, distress or fear.” – BullyingUk. Life can feel difficult, pointless and painful in the midst of bullying. It can knock your self-esteem and affect your mental health. Three out of four people who were bullied said it affected their mental health and nearly half became depressed as a result, according to the study by charity Ditch the Label. We want to help. We have the tools you need to help you overcome your bullying and help you thrive. As professional youth workers, our team have devised a 6 week programme with strategies and tools to help young people deal with their bullying in a holistic approach and help them thrive and not just survive.

Our course is free and is launching for school years 7 - 9 on 16th June. You can sign-up on our website.
