Marriage Encounter is an opportunity for couples to have a weekend away together, to liven their relationship and deepen their commitment. The focus of the weekend is on the couple and their relationship. The weekend does not involve relationship counselling, and individuals will not have to share anything personal with others.

The Marriage Encounter weekend consists of a series of presentations each followed by a chance to reflect and talk to each other as a couple, not with others. The Marriage Encounter Weekend presents a Christian understanding of marriage based on the Bible, but the weekend is suitable for married couples of any faith, or none – all are welcome.
