Just Talk Drop-in Service

Description

The Lucy Rayner Foundation raises awareness of the signs and symptoms of depression in young adults, supports those young adults and their families, and works alongside other charitable organisations with the same objectives.

Just Talk is a monthly drop-in service in Horley for young people to come and have a chat over a cup of coffee on the first Sunday of every month 10am - 1pm.

WAVES (Wellbeing, Awareness and Voice for East Surrey) runs drop-in youth clubs providing a safe space for young people aged 13-19 who are experiencing or have experienced mental health difficulties. The sessions give you a chance to talk in complete confidence to others with similar experiences, take part in activities, combat stigma and build friendships and support networks with others.

Surrey Young Carers work with young people across Surrey aged under 18 who care for someone who has an illness, a disability, or is affected by mental ill-health or alcohol/substance misuse. They provide a range of support depending on your situation, from activities to provide time out from your caring role and meet children in a similar position, to more intensive groups and tailored one-to-one help, for young carers in a more difficult situation.
